Captain Will Wolfson
As a native Floridian, Captain Will grew up in Central Florida and graduated from Lake Highland Prep in Orlando where he distinguished himself as an All American lacrosse player. While recruited to play Division 1 college lacrosse, his passion for fishing Florida’s bountiful waters and hunting pristine wilderness areas kept him in the Sunshine State. He has been featured in several outdoor TV shows and wildlife publications showcasing his passion and skill for fishing and hunting.
Captain Will graduated “Cum Laude” from the University of Florida with a degree in Agriculture and was also a teaching assistant while pursuing a Masters of Science at UF’s Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences program.
His passion for adventure has afforded Captain Will several amazing work, travel and study opportunities in the great outdoors. They include:

Foreign Study, University of Florida, Cuba - Marine & Island Ecology Program;
Ranch Hand, Deseret Ranch, Osceola County, Florida;

Captain Will emphasizes the principals of conservation and environmental education while promoting responsible “catch and release” practices. With years of experience, he specializes and is proficient in navigating the multitudes of Florida’s shallow water tributaries, estuaries and unique waterways. He is an active member of Captain’s for Clean Water (CCW) and passionate about advocating on behalf of our natural resources. Capt Will was highlighted in the Jan. 2023 edition of National Geographic about the environmental challenges facing the Indian River Lagoon.
“On a chilly January morning, Will Wolfson noses our boat into Mosquito Lagoon, part of the Indian River Lagoon system. Wolfson, a fishing guide with 10 years’ experience on these waters, knows them as if they were an extension of his body….
As seagrass disappeared, Wolfson and other fisherman began educating the public and pressuring state and federal representatives to take action…”
National Geographic Magazine Jan 2023
Currently, his charters focus on the Indian River Lagoon System on the famed Florida Space Coast, but he also enjoys destination trips to Louisiana and Florida’s Ten Thousand Islands in Everglades National Park.
“I have an affinity for fly and light tackle fishing, but no matter the client’s skill level, I enjoy the challenge of the hunt and love assisting anglers in achieving and exceeding their goals for a great day on the water”, says Captain Will. “I love sharing what I have been so fortunate to experience in Florida.”
